When I switched from H&K to Glock for my daily carry, the stippling was new to many shooters and the slide changed which was still conservative (for carrying the gun, at least). blog and see all modified Glocks with designs from simple to extreme.  Not all modifications are good and not all companies that make them do a good job. Late last year I was introduced to Agency Arms by Booth of Armordillo Concealment. .  One look at the evolution of the Ambassador Glock I knew I had to get my hands on it. I sent them in Gen 3 17 and chose their package.
The Field Package is his hard work; there are no windows in the slide and the aesthetics are kept to a minimum. The company sets its own trigger and trim for the desired reflex look. it comes with a grief plate that covers the optic cut when the optic is not attached, except for mine. My only request is that they cut mine so that the rear sight is in front of the optic and not in the back which is not I agree. As with all machine tools, there are manufacturing and weight tolerances that go into the initial design. Remove too much weight or change the surface too much and you can end up with an unreliable product. used in unsafe environments to operate safely, or may require a special water source or high-powered ammo. Testing the Agency Field Edition is my standard test; I keep it real. I want to introduce the gun to a harsh environment but nothing is outside the bounds of what people can really expect to encounter with this weapon. I ordered the Space Edition and then installed the 2000 gauge. The bullets are 115 grain S & B, 115 grain Tula steel type, 124 grain Gold Dot and 124 grain Federal HST.

The first thing you notice about the Agency guns is that they are destructive; well thought out flat trigger profile. It has an impeccable safety; Unlike standard Glock triggers (or all aftermarket Glock triggers I've seen), the trigger safety retracts well, it's still there and still works but doesn't prevent your finger from touching the trigger body at all. .
The agency factor maintains a good balance and the actual draw is good; Less pre-travel, pure relaxation and more than travel. Because it is a flat profile, the physical activity required is minimal to maintain a reasonable weight. with no dead spots or spongy action, the 4 lb trigger on my test gun matched perfectly with constant pressure for hard shots or quick action for fast shots. even cold, the trigger holds its function and gives me zero problems. I don't know how many hours, weeks or months went into trigger design and engineering but it was time well spent.
Slide Space Edition works just as well; the rear serrations are fixed in the slide, providing a good rubber surface without changing the general pattern; the additional front serrations for the same, if not greater gripping friction for good use. The discount is minimal in this model but the difference is easily felt during the review. The agency didn't ask for it and gave me pause at first, even when the gun arrived and I loaded a Trijicon RMR RM07 6.5 MOA, the fit was perfect.
The frame work does not include your usual stipple and undercut trigger guard; The first hand removed the finger and a top bite is placed behind the guard and inserted with another ray bite for the support hand, the agent lowers the overall thickness and removes the front toe the guard. The frame's best feature, however, is what they call the Accelerator pad. The forward angle of the release lever provides a good reference point for the thumb of your support hand and a point to use to increase the lips during the rotation. ™ have seen this done on polymer guns in the past and there is at least one company that makes a tool that attaches to the frame of some guns for the same purpose, but this is the first time anyone has added such a feature as part of his work. and when used, it must be.

The freedom to choose is doing something else that I really like; They leave only the right things and focus on improving performance. Only three parts are available from Agency guns, the trigger shoe, trigger guard and spring, all other parts are OEM Glock available. repair. well done. with a specially masked barrel, a class-matched barrel that increases the cost of the weapon and does little to improve its performance. 8â€x8†steel at 100 yards with my rifle and I know it to be true because it is an OEM barrel known for reliability and accuracy; Accuracy is improved by the trigger, not the increased level of lubrication of the barrel.  At speed it is very controllable, keeping a nice group at distance. the usual gun.
General confidence remains; with 2,000 rounds through the gun that has not been cleaned or replaced; It is sprayed and allowed to cool, then heated again and again. Water, mud and frost will not cause damage, just like a stock Glock. it will last no matter how dirty it is. I know without a doubt that another 500 to 1000 rounds and I start to see irregularities, although no one really expects to use a gun at that level of work without a good familiarization or at least some lubrication. additional. if I have to take the Field Edition 17 and live it now, I don't hesitate (but I will clean it soon).
